Poly Bolts
PEP has developed an elevator bolt with UHMW polyethylene covering on the head. Unlike a poly-capped bolt, the ULTRA III bolt has a UHMW polyethylene covering which has been molded to fit the top of the carriage bolt. The bolt and the UHMW poly structurally become one. It wraps securely around the entire head of the bolt with a minimum of 1/4” seal virtually eliminating the possibility of the top popping off inadvertently.

This patented bolt comes in several sizes - 5/16, 3/8 and 1/4 heads with varied lengths and covering thicknesses. It can be used in a variety of applications where there is excessive friction and wear or high velocity. It is especially useful in areas where corrosive materials are used because it seals itself when more torque is applied as you tighten the bolt. Ideal applications are drag conveyors, vibrating feeders, flotation tanks, chutes and hoppers where ULTRA III lining is used to protect steel, aluminum or wood. Mega Shoe Poly Skid Shoe
ULTRA III UHMW-PE is engineered for the tough jobs and a wide range of applications in the agricultural industries. Compression molded UHMW-PE "Poly Skid Shoes" cover the metal skid shoes or plates that run against the ground on combine heads, swathers and cotton pickers. They are made strong enough to withstand abrasion and impact better than any other lower-level HD-PE products. They provide the extended wear needed for more acreage, longer hours and bigger combines of today's farmers. It's high impact and notched impact strength give ULTRA III strong friction and wear characteristics in addition to a high resistance to stress cracking. It has a low co-efficient of friction, and no stick quality in tough, abrasive, wet and heavy soils for maximum performance.

Horseshoe outperforms traditional metal horseshoe
Farriers may soon be making the transition from traditional metal to horseshoes made from patented ULTRA III UHMW-PE. The ULTRA III Horseshoe has been developed to reduce lameness and tendonitis. Lighter in weight than the metal shoe, the Poly shoe is a little over one-half of an inch thick and approximately 1 ¼" wide. ULTRA III UHMW-PE withstands abrasion and has a low co-efficient of friction. The Poly shoe absorbs the shock and functions as a cushion to the hooves of your horse. Its durability includes impact resistance at extreme temperatures of -100 to +175 degrees Fahrenheit. The ULTRA III Horseshoe can be used on racehorses on track or barrel racing as well as Morgan horses in the mountains or draft horses.

Dock Bumper protects watercraft from damage
Provide ultimate protection for your watercraft when lining the side of your dock with the ULTRA III Dock Bumper. The Dock bumper acts just like the bumper on your car. It cushions the blow as the watercraft comes into dock. It is made of ULTRA III UHMW and then bonded to rubber. The rubber helps cushion the impact and the UHMW resists abrasion. Its impact resistance, near zero water absorption and UV protection will make this Dock Bumper more durable and last longer than other dock liners on the market.

Slip rollers made of ULTRA III UHMW are an added feature for yachts, dining and transportation vessels. They gently roll and resist drag as the watercraft floats smoothly into docking position. Available without slip rollers for barges, tugs and other heavy duty watercraft. Sections are 3" x 10" or 6" x 10" and are 1 ½" thick. They easily mount with stainless steel screws.

Universal Rollers
A variety of sizes and shapes of ULTRA III Universal Rollers are available. Made from UHMW-PE, these rollers fit square or round tubing from 1 5/8" to 2 3/8" sizes. Replace metal rollers with ULTRA III rollers in places where there are highly abrasive conditions. The high molecular weight of UHMW-PE makes them last longer and run quieter and smoother than metal. Ideal for applications such as a gater, door, chain, or hose rollers.
